Danube Terminal Shuttle

Amber Rail’s philosophy, to research and develop the regional intermodal railway market obliges the company to design new products. Maybe, the most important one – in the region – is to replace the “missing link” between some of the main intermodal terminals of the region. Based on this idea, Amber Rail is developing a terminal shuttle between Vienna, Sopron, Budapest and Arad. This train will connect existing networks of several European intermodal providers.

The benefits are:
– service of a neutral provider
– frequency (3X a week)
– reliable transit times (within 24 hours for the furthest destination)
– free combination of 3 rd party networks

The train will start in January 2018.
